EILIDH CAREY-GARDNER
Eilidh is a registered Educational & Developmental Psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with over 8 years of experience. She works with young people and families in a range of clinical settings, supporting them with a broad range of difficulties, including, anxiety, depression, complex developmental trauma, distress in relationships and complicated family dynamics. She is also particularly interested in supporting young people and families living with neurodevelopmental difference.
Eilidh is a warm and empathetic practitioner who values collaborative practices. She takes a client-centered, evidence-based approach to her work, guided by the needs and goals that young people and families bring to their sessions. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including mentalisation-based treatment for families (MBT-F), CBT, creative therapies, attachment and trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Eilidh aims to help young people and their families reduce their distress and improve their understanding of themselves and each other, helping strengthen their connection.
