Sessions usually last 50 minutes for individuals and families. In some cases, we can extend them to 90 minutes. How often we meet depends on your or your child’s needs. At the start, we’ll typically meet weekly or fortnightly. As progress is made, we may move to 1-2 sessions per month as we work towards ending therapy. We’ll discuss this with you at the initial session.

The length of therapy can vary. With Medicare, you can get up to 10 rebated sessions per year with a mental health treatment plan. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact us or your doctor (GP).

You can obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your General Practitioner (GP). When you see your GP they should provide a referral letter along with a mental health treatment plan for your child. Medicare rebates only apply to individual sessions. Family sessions do not attract a rebate.
A re-referral is required after all of the sessions on the referral have been used.
We require a copy of these documents before your child’s initial session appointment.

Private Insurance
Yes. Please contact your health insurance provider to discuss whether your insurance covers the cost of psychological therapy
TAC/Work Cover
We do not currently accept TAC or Work Cover

Therapy
A standard 50 min therapy session is $235 per session ($172.25 for healthcare card holders). Clients who have a valid mental health treatment plan from their medical practitioner (e.g., GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist) will receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65

We accept all major debit/credit cards. Payment is processed via Square which is a HIPAA compliant method of paying for sessions.
All sessions (including assessment sessions) must be paid for on the day of your session. You will not be able to book further sessions until payment has been received.

When you book a session, it's reserved just for you. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 2 days (48 hours) before your session. Cancellations made within 1 day (24 hours) will incur a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel on the day of the appointment or don't show up, the full session fee will apply. Please note, you can’t claim a Medicare rebate for missed or cancelled sessions.

Feel free to reach out by phone or email if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. If there's something personal you'd like to talk about, we recommend booking a session so we can make sure there’s enough time to focus on it properly.
